XLeratorDLL Installation

How to install XLeratorDLL packages and access code samples

XLeratorDLL Installation

SQL Server not an option? The XLeratorDLL function package provides the same financial functions found in XLeratorDB/financial as a .NET API (application programming interface.)

You can call XIRR, XNPV, AMORTSCHED, and a host of other financial functions, including bond figuration, yield curve construction, business date calculations, loan payment and amortization, etc.

XLeratorDLL code samples are packaged with the XLeratorDLL trial installation. The trial can be downloaded here.  You must register on the website with a valid email address to download trial packages.

The code samples illustrate how to call the XLeratorDLL functions and are provided in 'demo' Visual Studio applications installed with the XLeratorDLL trial package.

After installing the XLeratorDLL trial, the .msi installer creates a folder on your desktop...

Which points to the folder containing the XLeratorDLL sample projects: ...\Documents\XLeratorDLL-financial Trial

The are 'demo' Visual Studio projects that contain code samples in both C# and VB.NET. They can be opened by clicking the links in the folder. The demo programs can be executed and debugged. NOTE: The demo apps are developed in VS2010, if you are using a later version of Visual Studio you will be prompted to upgrade the projects.

You should un-comment the calls to the specific functions you are interested in to see sample output.

Lastly - you can download the sample code projects in the zip file on the website here: westclintech.com/Portals/0/documents/DLL_fin/XLDLL-Financial-Demo.zip
